Cruel Intentions, continued...

Kyle usually liked to arrive at parties on the later side, after the girls were already good and drunk, but he made an exception for Kirsten’s party. He knew something was going down tonight with Elaine and he wanted to be there to stop it from happening.

As he expected, Kirsten and Elaine’s large suite was packed to the brim with college students looking for the last big blast before the work of the semester kicked in. He smelled beer and cigarettes, and a strobe light made the room glow. Kyle scanned the room for Kirsten and spotted her in a corner, talking to Trevor Danziger. Kyle approached them slowly, trying not to give himself away.

“Kirstie, you look fucking hot tonight,” Trevor was saying.

“Do I?” Kirsten smiled at him. “How about my roommate?”

“Your roommate?”

“Elaine.”

“Not as hot as you.”

Kirsten pressed against him. “You know, Elaine’s a freshman and doesn’t know very many people here yet. I was hoping maybe you could show her a good time.”

“I was hoping maybe I could show you a good time,” Trevor said, grinning with his perfect teeth.

Kyle could see Kirsten was inches away from rolling her eyes. “How about this?” Kirsten said. “If you show Elaine a good time tonight, I’ll show you a good time tomorrow night.”

Trevor kissed her. “Deal.”

Kirsten watched Trevor walk away, a satisfied smile on her lips that only faded slightly when she realized Kyle had been watching. “Who invited you?” Kirsten asked.

“What was that all about?” Kyle demanded. “You’re not playing fair.”

“Just as fair as you with Jordan,” Kirsten said, flipping her hair over her shoulders. “All’s fair in love and war, Kyle dear.”

“Which is this?”

Kirsten crossed her arms. “It’s war, of course.”

“Elaine will never fall for Trevor’s bullshit,” Kyle said.

“I think you’ve overestimated the girl,” Kirsten said. “Everyone falls for Trevor’s bullshit.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elaine wasn’t having fun at Kirsten’s party. She was sitting on their couch, watching people smoke and drink, but nobody made any effort to come over and talk to her. She felt lost in this crowd, even though it was her own room. She wished she could just go home to her parents.

Or better, she could go visit Jordan. Elaine had tentatively broached the topic last night and Kirsten had been adamant that Jordan was not to be invited to the party tonight, but Elaine missed his company. She was finding that she couldn’t stop thinking about him.

As much as she tried to deny it, Elaine was beginning to realize she was very attracted to Jordan. He was a very good looking guy, that was undeniable, and now she felt more comfortable with his disability and even a little curious. All she could think about at the hottest party of the semester was what Jordan’s legs looked like under his slacks. The thought made her warm in her panties.

“Iced tea?”

Elaine looked up and saw the very handsome Trevor Danziger smiling down at her, holding out a cup of tea-colored liquid. She moved over slightly and he sat down by her side. “Thanks,” she said, taking the drink from him. She took a sip. “This doesn’t really taste like iced tea.”

“It’s from Long Island,” Trevor told her.

“Oh,” Elaine said. She didn’t know what he was talking about but she didn’t want to sound naïve.

“You don’t look like you’re having much fun,” Trevor said. He was so suave, so unlike Jordan. He never hesitated or stammered.

“Not much, no,” Elaine admitted.

“This is your suite, isn’t it?” Trevor asked.

“Yes.”

“Then you deserve to enjoy yourself!” Trevor declared. He put his arm around her gently. “Maybe we could...”

“Elaine!”

Elaine looked up and saw the familiar face of Kyle Daniels standing over her. She breathed a sigh of relief and stood up. “Kyle! I’m so glad you could make it!”

“Me too,” Kyle said. “I wish I could have brought Jordan, but... well, you know how Kirsten is...”

“I know,” Elaine sighed.

“Hey,” Trevor broke in, replacing his arm around Elaine’s shoulder. “Kyle, we were sort of in the middle of something...”

“Oh,” Kyle said. “Trevor, do you think you could give us a minute? I promise I’ll return her to you.”

Trevor reluctantly agreed and wandered off into the crowd. Kyle shook his head at Elaine. “You really like that Neanderthal?”

Elaine shrugged. “He’s cute, I guess. So... is Jordan doing okay?”

“Probably a little lonely,” Kyle said. “You know, Elaine... I know your intentions are good, but... what you’re doing to him isn’t right.”

“What I’m doing to him?” Elaine frowned.

“Come on, Elaine,” Kyle said. “You know he’s in love with you.”

“He... he is?”

Kyle shook his head. “You had to know he’s crazy about you.”

Elaine wasn’t dumb and she knew Jordan had a little crush on her, but she had no idea he was in love with her. And as Kyle said the words, she began to wonder if maybe she was in love with him too.

“I’ll let you get back to Trevor,” Kyle said. “It’s fine if you like him and all, but you shouldn’t lead Jordan on like that.”

As Kyle wandered back into the crowd, Elaine’s thoughts were filled with Jordan. She couldn’t remember having feelings like this for a guy in her entire life. This must be love, she decided.

She ran for the door.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elaine pounded her fist against the door to Jordan and Kyle’s suite. She stood waiting, chewing nervously on her fingernail. Finally, Jordan opened the door. He was dressed in a T-shirt and sweatpants and was wearing his glasses—it looked like he was getting ready for bed.

“Elaine!” Jordan smiled in surprise. He was very cute when he smiled. He looked down at his watch. “What are you doing here? I thought Kirsten’s party was still going on.”

“Yeah, it is,” Elaine said. “Can I come in?”

Jordan wheeled back and Elaine came into the suite. She shifted from one foot to the other. “The thing is,” she said, “I decided I’d rather be here with you.”

Jordan’s eyes widened. “Really?”

“Yeah,” Elaine said.

Jordan pulled off his glasses, placing them on his desk, and looked up at her awkwardly. “Do... do you want to sit down?”

“I want to kiss you,” Elaine said.

He stared at her. “I... I want to kiss you too. You can’t imagine how much.”

Elaine bent down and pressed her lips against his. She felt Jordan’s tongue gently massaging hers and her whole body tingled. After a minute, she pulled away. “That was my first kiss,” she confessed.

“Mine too,” Jordan said.

They went into Jordan’s bedroom and he transferred onto his bed. It was obviously something he wasn’t very good at yet and he had to apologize to her several times for taking so long. Jordan pulled his legs one at a time into the bed with him and then grabbed at the headboard to pull himself up in the bed. “Okay,” he said, wiping a line of sweat from his hairline with the back of his arm.

Elaine gingerly climbed on top of him. “Is this okay?” she asked.

“Oh yeah. Definitely.”

They began to kiss. Gently at first, but then with more passion. Elaine was seized by the urge to rip Jordan’s T-shirt off, but she felt somehow that he needed to take things slowly. He was such a gentleman, never ever trying to touch her breasts or her ass. But the thing was, she wanted him to. She placed his shaking hand on her nipple. “It’s all right, Jordan,” she told him.

“Elaine...” His eyes were filled with tears. “I love you so much. I... I don’t want you to do anything you’re not ready for.”

“But I am ready,” she insisted.

At that moment, she felt completely ready. She wanted to give herself to Jordan. She reached down and felt his erection through his sweatpants. “I’m ready,” she repeated.

“But Elaine,” Jordan said, “I can’t... have sex.”

“Because of your religion?”

“No. Well, I guess. But... really, it’s because, you know... I’ve never even had an erection...”

“You’re hard right now,” Elaine told him, confused.

“What?”

Elaine shifted off him so that Jordan could see his own penis straining against the seams of his pants. His eyes widened and he suddenly started really crying. “I can’t believe it,” he said. “I thought I couldn’t...”

“Can you feel it?” she asked.

“No, but...” He wiped his eyes self-consciously. “Oh god. I love you, Elaine. I love you so so much. I want to be inside you.”

“I want you inside me,” Elaine said.

She had to do most of the work. Jordan said that Kyle kept condoms in his room, so she went and stole one from his top drawer. She helped him pull off his pants, revealing his thin legs with his knobby knees. She pulled off her own skirt and positioned herself on top of him. They went slow, because it was the first time for both of them. Elaine felt pain, but she pushed through it. As she pumped against him, Jordan reached out and touched her clitoris in ways that made her writhe with pleasure.

She eventually came—her first orgasm. She was surprised by its intensity and she finally understood why it was something so sought after. Jordan came soon after—his first orgasm too. Tears rolled down down his cheeks as he gasped at the sensation.

Elaine collapsed against him, their naked bodies pressed together. She felt perfectly content right now. She loved Jordan with all her heart.

“Say cheese!”

Elaine heard a click and then saw a blinding flash of light. When her vision cleared, she saw Kirsten Grant standing over the bed, holding a camera and smiling. As she struggled to understand what was going on, Kirsten took another picture.

“What are you doing?” Elaine asked.

Kirsten winked at her. “Oh, don’t mind me, just go back to your cuddling.” With that, she took another picture.

Elaine drew her arms across her naked chest. “Stop that,” she protested.

Jordan struggled into a sitting position. “Hiya, Kirsten,” he said.

“Jordan, you amaze me,” Kirsten said. “You are right on time, just like always.”

“On time for what?” Elaine asked, confused. She pulled the covers up to hide her naked body as much as possible.

“He fucked you right on schedule,” Kirsten explained. She picked up Elaine’s skirt and blouse from the floor and threw them out the window.

“What are you doing?!” Elaine shrieked. “Those are my clothes!”

“I’m aware,” Kirsten said. She sat down on the side of the bed and ran her hand along Jordan’s bare chest. “I can see why she couldn’t resist you. But still, I’m impressed.”

“Jordan and I love each other,” Elaine spoke up. “And there’s nothing you can do about it, Kirsten.” She looked to Jordan for confirmation.

“Actually,” Jordan said, “I might not have been... a hundred percent honest with you, Lainey. Sorry about that. We did have a good time though, didn’t we?”

Elaine felt an awful sinking sensation in her stomach. Jordan wasn’t looking at her like he was before. Something had changed. She had a bad feeling that she had been deceived.

“You’re lucky,” Kirsten said to her. “Jordan here is the best, especially considering he’s a paraplegic. Of course, Trevor’s very good too...”

“So it was all a lie?” Elaine asked Jordan tearfully. “All that stuff about how you love me and...?”

He didn’t even need to answer the question. She could see in his eyes that it was all a lie. She grabbed her bra and panties off the floor and ran out of the room.

“She is so emotional,” Kirsten complained.

“Must be hell to live with her,” Jordan sympathized. “You think she’s going to burn down your room now?”

“Trevor is outside waiting for her,” Kirsten said. “He’ll make her feel loved again, don’t worry.”

Jordan laughed. “I won’t let it keep me up at night.”

Kirsten sighed. “God, have I told you how good it is to have you here, cuz?”

Jordan slid his hand between her legs. “Why don’t you show me?”

Jordan grinned as Kirsten mounted him. He had been with many girls (and guys), but there was nobody like his cousin Kirsten. She was the most beautiful and the best in bed. And there was nobody else who was quite so diabolical. He loved it.

They had kept up the act of hating each other for years now. It made sense in terms of hiding their little secret. Kirsten whined every time Jordan came to her parties, so nobody noticed when they both slipped away to have sex in her parents’ bedroom. And he often came in handy for her when she made one of her famous bets. The best thing about Jordan was they never saw him coming. Elaine certainly didn’t.

Jordan thought he had always loved Kirsten, even back when he was a kid and didn’t know what lust was. Kirsten was hot even in pigtails and an Osh Kosh jumpsuit. When they were small, they played doctor together. After his accident, she visited him, sat by his bedside and kept him company. All he remembered from that time was Kirsten sitting with him and holding his hand. Even his own mother didn’t do that for him.

They were always very physically affectionate with each other. They kissed and hugged playfully, but it never really meant anything. After Jordan was paralyzed, she was the only person who could touch his legs without making him feel uncomfortable. And she never made him feel that she loved him any less or had less fun with him because of his chair. When Jordan was ten and he found out that his mother had left them, Kirsten climbed into bed with him and hugged him until the pain subsided somewhat.

They “discovered” each other when Jordan was thirteen and Kirsten was twelve. When they were alone, they often played a wrestling game together on the living room carpet. Jordan was older, heavier, and stronger than Kirsten, but without his legs working for him, she could struggle against him successfully. Truth be told, Jordan could have overpowered her without much difficulty, but he was afraid of accidentally hurting her... and more importantly, he liked being pinned by Kirsten. When she pinned him, she rested the entire weight of her body against his forearms and straddled him. “Gotcha,” she said.

He had allowed her to pin him many times, but one day, he looked up at her and knew that he wanted her in a way he never had before. Kirsten sensed it too. She slowly lowered her body onto his, still keeping his arms pinned to the floor, and pressed her lips against his. They kissed for so long that when their lips finally separated, Jordan had to gasp for breath.

They lost their virginity to each other that day. They fucked each other exclusively for several years after that. As Jordan watched Kirsten’s young body sprout firm breasts and curved hips, he decided that he never needed to be with a woman besides his cousin. But one evening when he was sixteen, Kirsten took him out with her friends and he hit it off with her cute friend Ginger. Jordan would never have betrayed his beloved Kirsten for Ginger, but it had been Kirsten herself who whispered in his ear: “She likes you. Go for it, cuz.”

So he had gone for it. Ginger paled in comparison to Kirsten, as did all the other girls. Sometimes he and Kirsten went out with a couple and by the end of the evening, he was making out with the girl and she was making out with the guy, but all he could do was watch her and wish they could be together. Still, Kirsten’s logic made sense: nobody could know they were sleeping together. If either of their parents ever found out... well, Jordan didn’t want to think about what might happen. Certainly nobody could know while their grandfather was still alive and his inheritance was still up in the air—it wasn’t too late to cut his two incestuous grandchildren out of the will. Both Jordan and Kirsten knew they couldn’t get along without money.

Jordan realized that he and Kirsten couldn’t wind up together—there were too many things going against them. Someday Kirsten would probably marry some rich, good looking asshole, possibly an asshole of royalty. It was inevitable. But for now, they were still young and loved each other, so there was no reason to let the fun end.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kyle was getting nervous. He didn’t see Elaine at the party and Trevor wasn’t there either. There was still one day left for his bet with Kirsten and he couldn’t let her win. If Trevor had somehow persuaded Elaine to come away with him, not even Kyle’s little speech about how much Jordan loved her would be enough to stop Trevor. Kyle didn’t want to lose his car, but more importantly, he couldn’t let Kirsten win.

“Kyle, my man! Don’t look so down—you’re at a party!”

Kyle turned to see his friend Mitch smiling at him. He couldn’t smile back. “I’ve got worries, Mitch.”

“You’re twenty years old and in college... there’s absolutely nothing you should be worrying about,” Mitch said.

Kyle suddenly saw out of the corner of his eye the face of Trevor Danziger. He was leaning against the wall, talking to some girl who wasn’t Elaine. Elaine must have gone over to Jordan’s room. His shoulders finally relaxed. “You know, you’re right, Mitch,” Kyle agreed. “There’s nothing to worry about.”

“Exactly!” Mitch grinned. “Now tell me: where’s that dishy roommate of yours?”

“Jordan? Probably at home studying.”

“You should have brought him,” Mitch said. “I would have showed him a good time.”

“Yeah, right. I’m sure Jordan would be interested in that.”

“Oh, he’s interested all right,” Mitch said slyly.

Kyle narrowed his eyes. “What is that supposed to mean?”

“Nothing,” Mitch grinned, “except that your gimpy roommate and I had a little frolic in his bedroom this afternoon. He’s pretty amazing.”

Kyle burst out laughing. “Yeah, sure. I really believe you fucked a good Christian boy.”

“He might wear the cross,” Mitch said, “but the Christian stuff is all an act. He couldn’t even tell you how many apostles there are.”

“Whatever you say, Mitch...”

“I’m not kidding, Kyle.”

Kyle stared at Mitch’s face and could see he was telling the truth. “What the fuck are you saying? Jordan’s not gay... I know he’s into girls.”

“Maybe so,” Mitch said, “but he sure as hell isn’t a virgin, I’ll tell you that much.”

Kyle had a sinking feeling in his stomach. Something was very wrong. Jordan obviously had been lying to him about many things. And now Kyle had just sent Elaine straight into his arms.

“Fuck!” Kyle cried out.

He ran toward the door of the suite without excusing himself to Mitch. A girl he knew from one of his classes was standing by the exit, smoking a cigarette. “Suzy!” he said. “Have you seen Elaine leaving here?”

“Elaine?” Suzy frowned. “Who’s Elaine? Kyle sweetie, are you okay?”

“Elaine, the girl whose room this is!” Suzy stared at him blankly. “Small girl, red hair...”

“Oh yeah...” Suzy nodded. “She left, like, at least an hour ago.”

“Fuck!” Kyle cried again.

He ran like he had never run before. He reached the door to his room and nearly dropped his keys trying to open it up. The door to Jordan’s room was closed and he heard some noises coming from inside. Kyle opened the door without knocking.

Jordan was lying on his bed, his head propped up with pillows. His eyes were closed and he was moaning softly. There was a second lump under the covers that was moving rhythmically.

“Jordan, what the fuck is going on!” Kyle yelled.

Jordan’s eyes opened and he stared at Kyle. “Kyle, this is sort of a bad time...”

“Is that Elaine?” Kyle pointed at the lump under the covers.

Jordan shook his head. Before Kyle had a chance to be relieved, he saw Kirsten’s head peek out from under the covers. “You just missed Elaine. But don’t worry... I took pictures.”

Kyle sunk into a chair by the bed. “You lied to me, Jordan. After everything I did for you...”

“Everything you did for me?” Jordan repeated. “Excuse me, but weren’t you just trying to win your bet so you could violate my cousin?” He put his arm around Kirsten’s bare shoulders. “Luckily, I got to her first.”

Kyle pointed at the cross around Jordan’s neck. “So that’s all a lie too? You don’t care about Jesus?”

“Yeah, right.” Jordan smiled wryly and took the cross off his neck. “Actually, my mother was Jewish.”

“That’s why he’s circumcised,” Kirsten spoke up.

Kyle grabbed the handle of Jordan’s wheelchair. “Are you really even crippled?”

Jordan sat up straight in bed, “Hey, hands off the fucking chair.”

Kyle reluctantly let go of the chair. He was pissed, but he wasn’t about to stoop to the level of destroying a paraplegic’s wheelchair. “The two of you make me sick,” Kyle said, shaking his head. “You’re cousins... this is illegal, you know.”

“We’re fucking, not married,” Jordan pointed out.

“You deserve each other,” Kyle muttered. “I don’t know which one of you is more awful.”

“You’re just jealous because I’ve got something you’ll never have,” Jordan said.

“What? Legs that don’t work?” Kyle said, taking a page from the Book of Kirsten Grant.

Kirsten shot Kyle the dirtiest look he had ever seen. “Listen, you blue collar piece of white trash,” she said, “don’t you ever speak that way to my cousin again or else I will personally destroy you.”

“I’m scared,” Kyle said flatly.

“You should be,” Kirsten said, and Kyle couldn’t help but feel a little shiver go down his spine.

They had tricked him. Kirsten and Jordan had tricked him. He watched Kirsten gently stroking her cousin’s chest as she stared at Kyle with a triumphant smile. She had won and there was nothing he could do about it.

Or was there?

“How about another bet?” Kyle suggested. “Give me a chance to win back my car.”

“Why should I do that?” Kirsten challenged him.

“Because you know you can’t resist.”

Kirsten raised an eyebrow. “Go on...”

“I bet you that I can break the two of you up in one week.”

Jordan’s eyes turned icy. “No deal.”

Kyle was pleased he had finally gotten to him. “What? Are you afraid I’ll succeed?”

“I’m not afraid of you,” Jordan said in a cold voice.

“Then make the bet, dickwad.”

Before Jordan could say anything else, Kirsten interrupted: “What do I get if I win?”

Kyle smiled to himself. He knew that he had her. “What do you want?”

Jordan touched his cousin’s shoulder, “Kirsten, no.”

But Kirsten wasn’t listening to him. “If I win, Jordan fucks you the same way you wanted to fuck me.” She winked at him. “And I get to be there with my camcorder.”

Both Jordan and Kyle stared at Kirsten. “No way,” Kyle said.

Kirsten smiled and rested her head against Jordan’s shoulder. “I figured you were too chickenshit,” she said.

“I’m not chickenshit,” Kyle said.

“Then make the bet, dickwad,” Kirsten said coolly.

Jordan shrugged away from Kirsten. “Hey, don’t I get a say in this?”

“Don’t be such a baby, Jordan,” Kirsten sighed.

“But...” Jordan bit his lip. “Goddamn it, Kirsten.”

“Jordan’s in,” Kirsten announced. “So what do you say, Kyle?”

“Fine,” Kyle said through his teeth. “Let’s do it.”

“Actually, you and Jordan are the ones who are going to be doing ‘it’, as you so eloquently phrased it,” Kirsten corrected him. “But I agree: let the game begin. I hope you have better luck this time, Kyle.”

To be continued...
